my first visit to the Great British Cupcakery

Can you believe that the Great British Cupcakery has been in Newcastle for five years and i only step inside for the first time in October! Its crazy to think that I've been missing out on all of there amazing treats for so long. Arriving for them opening at 10am i of course chose a table in front of their famous flower wall.

It took me a good 15 minutes to read through the menu and i finally decided on scrambled eggs and of course the canny caramel milkshake, which was heaven in a glass jar and tasted amazing...the flavour of the salted caramel hit the spot, however it was so filling that i had to bring my brownie home for   later. The scrambled eggs were delicious, some of the best i have ever had, would definitely recommend you try them when you next visit.

For the occasion I chose to wear my pink love tee from River Island which complimented the flower wall perfectly. As there was a little chill in the air i paired it with this amazing stripped blazer from Manon Baptiste via Navabi, which i wear with everything! it has to be my favourite purchase if this year so far. I have a few more of their pieces on my wish list!

I could have stayed there all day just chatting, but alas after making sure we had the obligatory pictures in front of the flower wall we gave up our table and walked along the quayside to burn of the calories.
